Megan Howe is a lover of movement and teaching. It was at age 15 when she began teaching dance that she realized she wanted to be a teacher. After briefly attending college at Winthrop University, Megan knew she wasn’t on the right path, just yet... She returned to her hometown, Beaufort, and two years later was introduced to yoga at Dancing Dogs Yoga. It was under the direction and encouragement of Certified Baptiste Teacher and DDY owner, Shelley Lowther, that Megan pursued teacher training with Mark White, Senior Certified Baptiste Teacher and owner of MBody Yoga, and in May 2012 she earned her 200RYT certification. Continuing her journey, Megan became certified in children’s yoga in July 2012 and received a 100 hour advanced certification from Shelley Lowther in November of 2012. Currently, Megan is assisting the DDY and MBody Teacher Certification Program in Beaufort, South Carolina. In addition to studying under Shelley Lowther and Mark White, Megan has trained with Baron Baptiste (Foundation in Action, April 2012 and ADI Charleston, March 2013). Outside of teaching dance and yoga, Megan enjoys spending time with her daughter Kamdyn.
