Tina discovered the practice of yoga in 2009 when recovering from an eating disorder and unhealthy relationship with her body. The empowerment and wholeness she felt following those first yoga sessions sparked a fire inside, leading her to pursue the opportunity to share that same empowerment of yoga with others.
In Tina’s classes, tap not only into your inner strength, but also deepen your physical practice thanks to Tina’s accessible approaches to each posture and alignment based cueing. With creative sequences and a playful spirit, you will be sure to find adventure and self discovery on your mat. Tina’s mission is for each student to leave with renewed energy, an empowered spirit, and, most importantly, a smile.
Tina earned her 200 Hour level of yoga teacher training through Red Hot Yoga in Atlanta and has participated in numerous other trainings since. Tina also holds accreditation as a Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. When not teaching yoga, you can find Tina spending time with her husband and two kids or building community as an ambassador for lululemon.
