Raised in a small town in upstate New York, Lisa found her way to North County San Diego in 1996. An active mother of two, Lisa devotes her time giving back to the community while raising a happy and healthy family.
Lisa’s yoga journey began in 1998 with Bikram, but it wasn’t until her first class at Yoga Tropics in Encinitas that she discovered her yoga home. The studio’s atmosphere, challenging flow and supportive teachers became her daily ritual.
Lisa completed her teacher training at Yoga Tropics in 2013 and has a Yoga Alliance RYT 200-hour certification. Her teaching style focuses on the foundations and fundamentals of yoga and simplifies alignment, breath and balance. Lisa’s fun and informative approach prepares new students to begin their own effective yoga journey and allows experienced students to revisit the principles that make a successful yoga practice.
Lisa's private Yoga For Athletic Recovery classes are sport-specific and geared toward the serious athlete. Students in the sports of lacrosse, tennis and soccer regularly work with Lisa on balance, flexibility, focus and injury prevention.
